What is TEAM EMG? TEAM EMG is a unique coaching-based multisport club that steps way above and beyond your typical organization. Instead of simply running a club, we provide you with solid resources which enable you to excel in endurance sports. Our goal is to give you more than everything you need to reach your goal.

How? The TEAM EMG unique set-up allows 4 experienced USAT-Certified Coaches to pull their resources together and deliver a superior club model (click here to meet the coaches).

TEAM EMG Custom-made Tri Jersey. Have you always wanted a real, professional triathlon jersey? Well, just by being a part of TEAM EMG, you get a custom-made, comfortable, performance-fit tri jersey. Normally a $150 expense, you get this jersey when you sign up for TEAM EMG

TEAM EMG Coach-Led Training. Are you looking for an edge? Do you want an innovative, challenging and extremely effective training session? If so, then this part of TEAM EMG is for you!


Each week one or more of our coaches will take you through a blistering TEAM EMG group training session that will catapult your fitness to a new level. Tempo group rides, heart-pounding run intervals, enhanced bricks, open-water swims, long runs with aid stations—these are just a sample of the training you’ll get from being a part of TEAM EMG! TEAM EMG Static Training Plans. Are you looking for a training plan for the Kansas City Triathlon, IM Kansas 70.3, SMP Triathlon, OMC Women’s Triathlon or IM Branson 70.3? Well look no further!


As part of TEAM EMG you will have exclusive access to an EMG Beginner and Advanced static training plan for all of these events. This plan will tell you everything you need (and more) to not only finish these events but finish them well. You will know you are training correctly when you train with a TEAM EMG plan. TEAM EMG Athlete Page. We will have an entire page on our website devoted to the most important part of EMG: you, our athletes! Here you will see pictures of you racing, your results, your racing history and where you stand in our EMG Team Competition; all of which are important things to show off your accomplishments to your family and co-workers.

TEAM EMG Team Competition. With all the hours you put into training, racing and preparing for triathlon, you deserve something special when you perform well on race day. That’s what this competition is all about.


Any TEAM EMG athlete that races in our official TEAM EMG custom tri-jersey will receive a rating for every multisport race that they complete. You will get a 10 for 1st in your age group, 9 for 2nd, 8 for 3rd, 7 for 4th and 6 for 5th. Think you can win overall? Great! You get 15 points for winning 1st overall, 14 for 2nd overall and 13 for winning 3rd overall. Or, you simply get 5 points if you complete the race. Thus, the more races you do, the higher your score!


The overall male and female winners of the competition will receive 3 free sessions from our coaches (one from Ben, Jeff and Josh), a TEAM EMG CHAMPION Wind Breaker, a free pair of Saucony running shoes and perhaps most importantly, the glory of being a TEAM EMG Champion!

Priority Sign-up for all EMG events and clinics. Have you found it is difficult to get into our programs and clinics? Fear not, for you will have a priority sign-up time before general sign up for camps and clinics begin!

One week before each event, you will receive an e-mail from TEAM EMG detailing how you go about signing up for our event before general entry.

TEAM EMG Socialization. While you’re out in our TEAM EMG Coach-Led Training, you are bound to make friends. With our crazy athlete schedules, sometimes it is hard for us to make time to break away and enjoy something that doesn’t involve Speedos and aero helmets. That’s why we have monthly socialization sessions!

Striving to extend far beyond the swim-bike-run mantra, we will have monthly TEAM parties, outings and events. These will range anywhere from meeting at Chipotle to a TEAM EMG visit to Worlds of Fun. All meetings will be posted on our official TEAM EMG calendar on our website.

How much is this going to cost? We understand that money is tight. Because of our incredible sponsors and our commitment to the athletes, we are able to offer the 2010 Team Membership for $100.00 a month! So, for just $25 a week you get everything from weekly coaching and static training plans to jerseys and excellent sponsor discounts. Look around: our services are simply unbeatable!
