Dates Announced for EMG Summer Camps |

EMG is pleased to announce that for a third year we will be hosting two 5 day iron and half iron distance prep camps in the Midwest region. EMG's Five day prepatory camps will be held in Kansas City from July 28th through August 1st and in St. Louis from August 11th through the 15th. Check out our site for more specific event information. Both camps promise to provide the absolute best training around for athletes participating in events totalling 70.3 or 140.6 miles (sorry but  got to stay legal with the big boys). We kick off each camp on Wednesday evening, have a half day (second half) Thursday and all day Friday leading into a mammoth weekend so that you can take as little time away from work and family. That being said, for 5 days you focus on training and pushing your body further and harder than you ever thought with completely supported open water swims, bikes and runs as well as expert coaching from our staff of 5 USAT Level I and US Swim Level I coaches. |

Kansas 70.3 Prep Camp - May 14-16 |
|
 Join with other athletes in the fastest growing triathlon training series in the Midwest – EMG. Led by Kansas City professional triathlete Ben Schleogel and Elite Age Groupers Josh Wolf and Jeff Whitecotton, this training camp and clinic will be held on the new Ironman Kansas 70.3 race course over three days - May 14-16. During the Camp you will swim in the lake, bike on the roads and run the routes just as you will on race day. As well as being part of a fully supported training event, you will learn techniques and tips about training and racing and meet with Co-Race Director Ryan Robinson for a Q&A session. Different registration options are available: Cost of the 3 day camp is $249.

 Ben Schloegel, Josh Wolf and Jeff Whitecotton are now offering coaching services for multisport and athletes of all backgrounds. Josh and Jeff are still looking for athletes to coach in the 2010 season who desire truly personalized coaching and the benefits that come with that relationship.
The Trio brings tremendous background with them ranging from single day triple centuries to multiple top 10 international pro field finishes and overall and age group race wins. What makes the team so strong is not their respective race resumes rather their passion and love for the sport at it's many different levels. Ben, Josh and Jeff have worked with athletes one on one for years and are very excited to be working with a larger group. When you work with one of us you get the benefit of utilzing all of us type of approach. We pried ourselves on creating a "multisport culture" within our athletes and team.
All athletes that are coached by our staff are also automatically enrolled into Team EMG.
