EMG RUNNING CLUB LAUNCHES |
|
You have asked; we have listened! By popular demand the triathlon experts here at EMG are expanding our reach and launching the EMG Running Club on July 17th! Much like TEAM EMG, the triathlon segment of our company, the EMG Running Club offers a fantastic set of services unique to the KC Area.
Not only do we have weekly runs with aid stations, but we also include training plans for every distance/level from the 5k beginner to the Boston Marathon Qualifier. Every week you can expect coach-led discussions, runs and tips—services that take the guesswork out of both training and racing.
In addition, you get weekly e-mails, FREE EMG Running Club apparel, sponsor discounts and the chance to learn from the most knowledgeable staff in town!
We will have 3 different sessions a year. Each trimester will run 16 weeks in duration and will be $150.00. So for almost $10.00 a week you get coach-led training, a program, marked courses with aid stations, weekly e-mails, running tips, discounted EMG Running Club apparel, sponsor discounts and much more! We will run every Sunday morning starting at 7:30am. The location each week will rotate though 6 different sites, thereby keeping the venue fresh and allowing for everyone in Kansas City to have a run nearby his or her house.
Not sure? Well we want to prove our worth! We are having a one-time, two month EMG Running Club test pilot session that will run from July 17st to August 30th for just $50! Come out and give it a shot. If you aren’t completely satisfied, we’ll refund your money, no questions asked.

It rained and threatened to storm…we swam. It poured and froze us...we learned about transitions. It spit water in our face on the bike and washed off all the course markings...we road. It became hot and muggy and hit us like a ton of bricks...we ran. It melted us with sun as we tried to drink water...we learned about nutrition. It proved to be a crazy day out there, with every second bringing something new....and we loved it all!
Great job to everyone who came out to the Beginner's Clinic on June 12th at Cedar Creek. It was one of our best clinics yet, and we appreciate sponsors, volunteers, and participations who came out and made it happen. Be sure to check out all the pictures by clicking our "photos" button up in our webpage banner. If you missed the camp, feel free to come to our other upcoming camps and clinics! Until then, see you out on the road!

Thanks to all who came out and took part in the Kansas 70.3 race simulation EMG hosted on April 17th. The weather was perfect and all had a great training day. Thanks again to Ryan Robinson, race director for Kansas 70.3 for supporting and clearing time and space with park officials. GU Energy Products for supplying all the fuel at the energy stations and their continous support of the multisport community. Next time you are at an event and see their booth stop by and let them know you appreciate it so that they will continue to see value in taking care of their Midwestern athletes. EMG is hosting another, much more comprehensive 3 day camp in mid May and we would love to have you there. We are a coaching service that offers a unique ability to be much more comprehensive than any service in the region due to our collective experience, background and strengths in sport. You will not find any service in the area that comes as close to our level of ability, "know how" or actual race experience which can be translated into your success. We would love the opportunity to prove it to you and help you achieve your goals and get the most out of your training/racing experience. Read up more on Team EMG or our coaches bio's to find out who we are, what we stand for and why are so passionate about multisport. We can support and train athletes of ability levels; so if you are just wanting to get into the sport or if you want to race over in Hawaii this October we are the group to get you there.
